Each athlete can participate in their weight class OR the closest weight class above. You can take part in all the categories (Sub-junior, Junior18, Junior23, Senior, Para, Maser, Grand Master) you qualify for.

Sub-junior (13, 14 or 15 years in 2024), boys: -55, -65, -75, +75 kg

Sub-junior (13, 14 or 15 years in 2024), girls: -50, -60, -70, +70 kg

Junior18 (up to and including the year you turn 18), boys: -65, -75, -85, +85 kg

Junior18 (up to and including the year you turn 18), girls: -55, -65, -75, +75 kg

Junior23 (up to and including the year you turn 23), boys: -65, -75, -85, -95, +95 kg

Medals for the three best in each weight class.

Entry fee:

NOK 350 pr. arm pr. category. Half price for the second category.

If you do not show up at weight-in, the entry fee will be refunded to the same card you used to make the payment.

The competition will run on four or five tables.

Where is Odda, and how do you get there?

Odda is in the west of Norway. 

The closest airport is Bergen lufthavn (BGO).

Clothing/dress code:

Sportswear. Not jeans or shorts.

Rules & WADA-code:

World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) rules.

The host, Hardanger Handbak Klubb and Norges Bryteforbund, follow the World Anti-Doping Code. 

Everybody who takes part must follow the WADA code.

License:

All Norwegian athletes must be a member of the Norges Bryteforbund. 

The athletes must have a license from the Norwegian Wrestling Federation before the start of the event. Contact your local club for more information.

All foreign athletes (WAF members) must be members of their national armwrestling federation and bring a statement confirming the membership.
